Breastfeeding Counsellor

Moving to Solids and

Infant Feeding Guide

As a breastfeeding counsellor and infant feeding guide, I am dedicated to helping parents and babies navigate the journey of early feeding.  My focus is on offering personalised guidance and support to ensure a positive and nourishing experience for parents and babies. I offer evidence based, gentle support, that helps parents understand the biological needs and expectations of their baby and how to meet those needs without losing sense of self.

I offer a range of services aimed at empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence to embrace and establish a successful feeding journey using whichever methods they choose. I am committed to providing compassionate and specialised support, tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. I can offer support with safe sleep practise in each consultation.

My Philosophy

I believe in a holistic approach to infant feeding. My work is centered around fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where parents feel supported and empowered to make their own informed choices. I am dedicated to promoting a positive feeding relationship between parents and babies, ensuring that both physical and emotional needs are met.

I am a hands-off practitioner, which means there is never any need for me to touch you or your baby. I can offer effective breastfeeding and infant-feeding support through conversation, guidance, and education — without watching you breastfeed, unless you choose to.

Many parents may not feel confident sharing their body, may feel vulnerable, still growing in their confidence or may already feel completely touched-out.

You do not need to expose your body, accept touch, or perform feeding in order to receive meaningful support.

My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in respect for boundaries and consent practise. I hold space for each member of the family's lived experience, mindful of birth trauma, racial trauma,  mental-health stigma and LGBTQIA+ trauma.

Parents of all genders and none, are welcome at my practice.

You can change your mind about anything at any point in the consultation. Your comfort comes first.

Every body deserves support — in a way that feels safe, respectful, and led by consent.

However your feeding journey unfolds, you don't have to do this alone.

With heartfelt thanks to all the families who kindly share photos and videos to help support and promote my work.
